At
least one time in your life, you struggle with your way between your
dream and real life. Especially for 20's, they are certainly in that
situation. Kate is 23 years old. She is one of such girls. Her dream
is to become a dancer.
She
is very diligent to learn how to dance. She hadn't taken any dancing
class, but she studied from videos. Practicing by yourself is kind of
difficult. But she could do it because she had a great passion for
dancing. She watched the videos repeatedly and mimicked dancers'
motion everyday. She had never done dancing in the movie, but she had
enough confidence to say "I am a dancer."
She
likes her family. She and her family didn't concur with her dream. A
big difference between her and her family is knowing value of money
or not. She had never experienced money problems so far because her
family supported her financially. That's why, for her, passion is
more important than money. However, her family knows making money is
difficult and important for living, so they didn't want her to take a
risk. Then they objected to her dream. Actually the risk is elegant
for her. But she really understood their concern; therefore, even
after she left her house, she couldn't dislike them heartily. When
she was in the bus, she found a mother and her son. She overlapped
them with her family. She understood both son's mind and mother's
mind. She noticed her situation was similar to theirs.
She
really loved her brother. Her brother Mutts was her only supporter
among their family. And also she was his supporter. In hindsight, she
left their house for her dream, but at the same time, she wanted to
run away from the fact of his death. If making her dream reality was
the only reason to leave her house, she should have met sandy hair
dancer after his show. However, she didn't do it. She left the
theater to take the next bus. She just wanted to dance at will. She
wanted to fulfill her dream for her brother because he couldn't do.
She didn't understand his death yet. Her behavior was contradictory.
She struggles with his death more than discord within her family.
I
hope she overcomes her brother's death and has many experiences to
make her dream come true.
